I save card fronts when I think I can reuse them again--which almost always means saving thank you note fronts. My mother recently found herself in need of a lot of thank you notes in a hurry. I pulled out my stash and made a bunch. This is only a sampling of what I did.
Dies, ribbons, and sequins, jewels or dots are your best friends when doing this.
The Stitched Rectangles Dies are my most used dies on this project. It makes it easy to cut out something that you don't want showing and you can replace it with a different sentiment. It also makes it easy to jazz up a plain card front without much time involved. It also gives a nice finished look--so it doesn't look like you are so cheap that you just glue card fronts on a new piece of cardstock. (Grins--I do it for the sport of it.)
