I was very intrigued when I saw Dina's Negative Watercolor video the first time. This stamp choice turned out to be more difficult than I thought. HA...don't ya love how I blamed the stamp? Well it's not at all what I had in mind when I started, and I broke the color wheel rules that Dina suggested. I was actually going for a delicate look! Muse thought otherwise. It took a while for a new vision to sink in but I found her. I partially fussy cut her on sticker paper, leaving some of the negative space in the left corner, which helped her not get lost in all the bold business. I will send this to Marion, our tea party recipient this week.

Very pretty card and guess what? I blamed my stamp, too. Though, I love the stamp it became a little busy for this tutorial (for me) but I got it done. Mine really wasn't the stamp, just me. I like your girl and that sentiment.

Like you, I often find my muse has a different vision for these paintings than I do - so we might as well embrace it. This is so you - bold & daring - done with a wild abandon that reminds us when it comes to art sometimes we have to break the rules - it's called artistic license.

This turned out beautifully I think. The colours are wonderful and I love the addition of the woman and sentiment. Thanks for joining us in this week's WCW challenge.
