First I sponged the inside of the ef (birches). I used a rolling pin to get the embossing. After brayering the leaves, I fussy cut them, punched the saying, and added raffia and enamel dots. Easy peasy!
Inside it says,
"This year, we're 'leafing' Thanksgiving up in the air. We'll have to wait and see."

My sister and I have been having conversations about this. Ever since my Mom died, i have been hosting Thanksgiving. She wasn't hosting it, it's just that she couldn't get into the house I was living in because of the stairs. Guess we'll just have to wait and see, Christmas too. Probably pretty low key. You got great results with the rolling pin. I love tree embossing folders.

So very beautifully done- love your subtle colors on the leaves and always love a tree themed backing!
Yikes, we have had outdoor gatherings with a few from my family- but live in the Midwest where it is chilly outside.....so the holidays will be a challenge!

Wow, Anne this is so lovely with these skeleton leaves and I love the hammered trees for the background.

Clever to combine the inking with Jean's technique, it looks great. Super work fussy-cutting those leaves. I am hoping that means your hands are good at the moment!
