I created a page of watercolor paper that is washed with shades of green and a splatter of wink of Stella and white paint. That's what I use to die cut the trees. You can see splotches of the white paper, which I think gives character to the trees, a little different. The scene was created using Snowfront and Waterfront sets. Then I watercolored in the scene. This took me a couple of days to get this to look the way I wanted, so finally finished and able to post for you.
Thanks for an interesting challenge and thanks for looking.

Wow! What a scene you watercolored and I love your trees leaving some white. Great style, beautiful card. I like the plaid behind your scene, too. Thanks for joining in this challenge.

Fun scene and on my 3rd look, I even caught the little wood cabin peeking out from behind that big pine. Amazing what one sees if we just take the time to look deep into a painting.
