I focused on Barbara's:
-blended background
-overlay
-chopped up sentiment
I changed:
-colours
-slimline
-tone on tone background rather than silhouettes
This card was made with a mix of my bright and happy rainbow-go to of 6 Catherine Pooler inks. I created a colour chart and mixed them to create new tones, and then used these blended colours to create this fall card.
I used a slimline card to give me plenty of space to show the different blends I created, and then I 'stretched' a stencil and blended over top to create interest in my background.
My sentiment was created with a word stamp, that I cut into strips and then blended inks on.

Ardyth, I love the colorful stenciled background you created and the fact that you used the tall slimline layout to highlight your Thanks sentiment. I like how you layered the letters.
