Today's Watercolor Wednesday Challenge wasn't so scary. But it did take a long time to dry. And I was a bit too timid with my choice of colors. I enjoyed it anyway. It's all pretty self explanatory. I didn't do anything rogue here.

Love both cards, Jen. The background colors are great and make the leaves and stems pop. I love those sentiments for a sympathy card.

Glad to see you're back from vacay - I missed you last week! Yes I would guess you wouldn't want to go too rogue when creating sympathy cards - These work really well - light and bright without feeling inappropriate. The bold leaf spray looks lovely against that bg.

I sort of feel like choking up over the first sentiment! It's just so true and there seem to be so many sudden good-byes right now! Both cards are beautiful! I love your color choices! I love that you were brave enough to mask off where the sentiment goes. I was sure I would get it crooked so I didn't do that part of the tutorial!

Love that you used dark gray instead of black (at least that's what it looks like here). Perfect accent to your beautiful colored background. I think those are two of the best sympathy sentiments I have ever seen. Heading to Unity now. Beautiful card.
