In today's MMTPT we are spelling CHEER with our cards. We only have to use the E one time so really we are spelling CHER. I love Cher! I have traveled around the U.S. with my daughters seeing her. We saw her when they were little and they have such fond memories of her. Well back to my card.
I didn't have much time this morning so I had to do some punting. I used a cling wrap background I made during the cling wrap watercolor challenge a few weeks ago. I stenciled in some very light honeycomb design - hope you can see it because it is very cool. I stamped on a thinking of you sentiment and added in this sunflower I received in a RAK a million years ago. There wasn't much texture or bling and I needed an R so I put some rust texture paste on the flower center and splattered some on the card base. Then I added black glitter too. Look way better IRL.
I will send some cards from my stash too - great organization to be supporting (check the challenge out in the forum to get details).
C - Cling Wrap Background
H - Hot colors
E - Embellishment
R - Rust colored textured paste
Thanks for visiting! Hugz

Great card. I noticed the honeycomb right away. I was so tempted to find a photo of Cher and embellish that for my contribution. Glad I wasn't the only one to think of her.

Very clever and creative, Nancy. Cling wrap and honeycomb (yes, I do see it) are very imaginative, and your sunflower with its rusty centre is really lovely.
