This week the teapotters are sending cards to Tana, who broke her shoulder trying to rescue her cat from the roof and needs some paper hugs. Thanks Anita for the challenge. Tana likes flowers and the color purple. Do you ever feel like the universe is conspiring against you? Tana must have felt like that & I did as well, trying to make this card. Cut the prongs off the brads and glued down with (Ranger multi matte medium-glue everywhere but where I wanted it) Copic YG13 practically dry as a bone, but squeaked out enough for the bee's wings. Tried to find some ribbon that went with this flower but not anywhere where I was looking. You get the drift. I did find this razzleberry ribbon thank goodness but it wasn't the one I had in mind. Added the lime ribbon for a bit of pop and popped up the panel with a rect. piece of fun foam. Sponged edges with the new speckled egg distress oxide. I like this sentiment for Tana because she was trying to rescue her kitty! tlf.

Shirl the universe may have conspired against you...but YOU won! This looks great, I love all your free-hand work and the pop of lime is the perfect trim.

Shirl, it came out great! The flower is fabulous, love all the purple and the bee is cute too. May have had issues along the way, but the card is wonderful. Hugz

Oh, I think we all have had those days, Shirl. I'm sorry it was your turn for one. I like cutting the tops of brads too. Whatever ribbon you couldn't find couldn't be more perfect the one you did, and I like the addition of the extra lime one which matches your cute bee.

Love the freehand background swirls. The little bee looks like he is swooping down on a delicious lollipop-which is what nectar must be for bees!

Adorable card Shirl. I can so relate to your tale of woe and I am so glad you preserved. I love the swirly flowers and that image just makes me smile. The adorable bee and ribbons are just fun extras that make the card even happier. Hugs for your day. Today will surely be better.

Think we are all having days where everything conspires against you - but glad you carried on because this card is so lovely and cheerful and will be a nice surprise to find in the mail.

It sounds like some of my card adventures, but I'd say it all turned out fine in the end! It's a great card! You are probably still getting the glue off your fingers though!
