I recently came across a carved wood technique from Gina K and wanted to try it. She embossed the card stock using a stencil. However, most of my 6" stencils have duct tape around the edges, so they won't fit through my cuttlebug. I used an embossing folder instead. After embossing, the card stock is scored to get the look of boards and inked with a faux woodgrain technique.
I wove ribbon through punched holes and added thin strips of card stock on the left edge to mimic the ribbon.

That is a really pretty technique, Melody. You nailed it and I love the unique ribbon treatment too. Outstanding card. Into my favorites.
