 | | Debby aka limedoodle is the featured stamper this week. I am a HUGE fan of Debby. I seriously wish I could case every card she makes - she does lovely watercoloring, and I love her step by step instructions on her blog.
I probably should have looked at her blog details on this one, but I just set out and tried casing this card:
Watercoloured Wildflowers by limedoodle at Splitcoaststampers
and this was my favorite result. I changed my flowers to blue, did a salted background, added in some stenciling and poured some salt on my background before and after painting the flowers. Also added in some gold paint.
Added the salt to play in this week's watercolor challenge. I need to get rock salt because you can barely see the salt effects - they are mostly around the sentiment and a bit in the flowers since I salted before and after the flowers. Fun technique and I am loving the new weekly watercolor challenge.
Congrats Debby. Hope you enjoy seeing us all case your gorgeous cards.
