Christmas Blessings

Poster: lovinpaper

I decided make a card using a poinsettia and the Joyful Christmas set made the perfect poinsettia. I added dimension by cutting the center and layering it, also curving the petals. The brad in the center was white, retired many years ago by SU, so I colored it with a Copic marker. I do not have the Bumblebee color, so I used a marker in the yellow color that would work as a center.

This card is 5 X 7 so I will add it to the MISTI challenge. I rarely make this card size, so I used a chart by Kristina Werner with dimensions for layering pieces. It is so easy to look a the chart in deciding on the size for a layer.

I am adding it to the USEIT2020 group as many of these supplies are retired. Both stamp sets used were retired several years ago. The brad and the rhinestones have all been retired. That is usually when I make a purchase.

Fun and enjoyable challenges. Thanks for looking!

The heat embossing really adds sparkle to the poinsettia. Very nicely made. TFS!
