This is all four units I built for my different ink storage. This doesn't include the large rotating one that I made for distress inks.

Top left (stazon ink) is made from a small cassette holder. The spaces were too wide, and only had a short brace on each edge, so I added chipboard shelves with some corrugated cardboard on the ends for spacers. I covered the corrugated cardboard with the stamped card stock. [I may put these inks in the right column of the bottom left, since they are the same size as the brilliance. I'm not sure if those in that column would fit this top holder or not.]

Bottom left (brilliance ink, archival ink, versamark, and a couple odd inks)

Top right (color box pigment ink)

Bottom right (color box chalk ink and thick pigment pads)

Since each type of ink pad tends to be a different size, each unit was designed for a specific size pad.

These are fabulous, Melody! The ink I was thinking was Versafine Clair is actually your Color Box pigment ink. Fantastic storage!

YES!!! BRILLIANT!!!! Absolutely brilliant! I was going to make one using some scrap siding from a house they are building close by. It is some kind of thin strong pressboard material. But, I didn't know how I was going to join the pieces I got my husband to cut. I tried hot glue but it just wouldn't hold it together. It's too thin for nails. I thought that cardboard would be too flimsy but I see it is just fine. So, back to the craft room to do what you have done. THANK YOU for sharing your fantastic project! I also love your 5 star revolving ink hotel complete with tool shed (gazebo) on top. Ingenious!

These look amazing. Such a great idea to make your own storage. Love it.
