Brenda gave us a challenge to use salt for our background. You can find the challenge here: WCW008 - 7/22/20 Watercolor Wednesday Salted Background by Benzi at Splitcoaststampers I kept it simple....used watercolor paper and coarse salt. After letting it dry and wiping off the salt, die cut the opening. Stamped image and watercolored. Added some doodling. There are three other attempts in the wastebasket. Some days you are the windshield and some days you are the bug. . TFL and hope you can join us and show your creations. Have fun.

First laugh of the day!!!!!!! That is a great analogy and I will remember it forever. Hard to believe you ever throw anything away, your work is always gorgeous. It is sort of a random thing, can't control how the salt behaves.

Soft and lovely - (I have never tried this using watercolor paper always glossy stock) - I especially like the looks of the right hand edge of your frame and the lower portion . . . it looks like a million little flowers bloomed open there.
