This little embossed piece was laying around on my desk. I made it a few weeks ago when I was playing around inking an embossing folder with distress ink. This morning I was using my Finetec gold watercolors and not wanting to waste the last bit on my brush, I splattered some on this little panel and ran my brush around the edges. Suddenly I loved it and wanted to make something with it.
I popped it on a black panel and then used a trimming from a watercolor background to anchor it, but something was missing. I cut a thin strip and embossed it several times with Egyptian Gold embossing powder. Placing it behind the thin watercolor was just the ticket to tie in the gold on the panel. The sentiment from PTI Summer Hills was the perfect addition.

Your embossed panel is beautiful. I love the gold you are using. And, the strip finished it off perfectly. Oh, and I love that color for your base...yummy.
