After practicing the first technique I decided to use a stamped image for a second card for this week's Watercolor Wednesday Challenge. Still working on my technique!

Love, love this card. You know I love a bird image. The blue on your flowers is just popping so beautifully. I love reading that wonderful sentiment. I think we all need hope right now.

what a beauty! I think watercoloring is always going to make you feel like you need to practice. It isn't as unforgiving as I once thought but it certainly requires some restraint and patience.

Ohhh - Those blooms take me back to my childhood and the morning glories that vined up our wash line poles. Love the way your color just edged the outer edge of the petals keeping the white centers pristine except for the pollen clinging to the stamens. Your bird looks fabulous too with very realistic colors.
