Finally a Watercolor Wednesday challenge that I could handle! Although I get very impatient waiting for things to dry. Luckily, I had my sketch card to work on while I waited. I've tried this technique one other time and it was fun to try again. I have a couple extra backgrounds now too. I never die cut backgrounds, so I decided to do that for a change and I am still trying to restock my sympathy card stash. I find that this challenge is good for that each week. There's something very soothing about the look of watercolor. So I die cut the leaves and then die cut the flowery part from glittery fun foam. Some simple framing and a stamped sentiment and I've got two new sympathy cards.

A wonderful sympathy card, Jen. I think you've handled all the w/c challenges really well. I like those pretty leaves and the text background.

Pretty blend of colors on those leaves with beautiful natural looking striations and veining throughout. The CAS treatment makes for a truly serene Sympathy card.
Like you I've done variations of this technique several times, so IF my pieces ever dry - I'm heading in the same die cut direction lol . . .

Great idea to do the die cut and I love your sparkly fun foam piece too. This is a soothing sympathy card. Very pretty and nicely done, Jen! Hugz
