I tried two of the paper techniques suggested for this Teapotter Challenge. I sponged the BG around the bird image and then used DP for his body that I thought looked sort of like feathers. I whitened his eyes with a gel pen.

Wow, wow, wow....paper piecing and pleating. Faith this looks wonderful. I would never have thought to paper piece the bird - he looks fabulous! Love the colour combo and all the layers too. Thanks so much for bringing this terrific creation to the teaparty.

Love your choice of papers for the background. And your bird looks cute. Why wouldn't I have thought of using a pen for the eyes - I'd probably have stamped them on white and pieced them again. The raffia looks super - and it's great because it's pretty postage-proof!

Love this card and can only echo what's been said -- great colors; great pleating; great piecing; great card! I love the paper on your crazy bird and the white pen was genius. This card is so fun and uplifting. Sure to bring a smile to Janet and Bruce.
