One of my favorite things is to read books. I read a lot of Christian Fiction from various authors, but a favorite is Lauraine Snelling an author I am currently re-reading. I chose a stamp set from Power Poppy in the digital version and resized it to be able to print two images on one sheet of paper. GKD Layering Weight works well in my laser printer and after letting the toner dry, it is easy to color with alcohol markers. I printed the book blank, so I added the sentiment from another Power Poppy set. I like the card that I was able to complete. Fun challenge!

One of mine too...too many favorites, I could go on and on. This is such a cute image, beautifully colored. Orchids too...I have good luck growing them.

I too love to read Christian fiction, have since I was a little girl, and I was very blessed to have parents who bought us lots of Christian and other good books to read and they encouraged us to read... I have heard of this author and I THINK that I have read at least one book by her...
I love Marcella Hawley's beautiful art in her Power Poppy stamps, and this is a stunner, I love the book image and it's so appropriate for you as a lover of books and reading! Beautifully colored, and you have let her image shine keeping that the focus. I really like how you have layered behind the focal image with the two shades of purple and lavender, and the tiny 3 dots in the top and bottom corners are a delicate embellishment. Truly lovely!!!
Blessings and best wishes to you, I think that this could be my first time seeing one of your cards, which is a pleasure.

Love that image - reading and gardening are favourite past-times of mine so seeing them together is one image is perfect. Wonderful colouring and shading! Thank you so much for making a card for my VSN challenge.

Wonderful image and great coloring of it too. I wish I had more time for reading. All I read these days are training materials that my company makes. LOL! I learn a lot about nothing. Giggles!!!
