Lyn is our TLC hostess this week and her challenge is HERE.
Hurrah for a day off today - I was able to try it. I don't like that I have big spots where I dotted the colour onto the card, but I have the same thing when I try the paint swiping tutorial, and I've tried it on several different cardstocks with the same result. I need to try with gesso, I think, to make the card less absorbent. Whenever I have more time....
I stamped the big flower in the corner, and dotted the blossoms with white gel pen and then Stickles. I used some chunky Aged Teal ep, but I think I missed out on the teal, it looks mostly gold. I added a sentiment die-cut from gold glitter card and shadowed with black, and then coloured the leaves of the flowers with a green gel pen since they were still on my desk from yesterday. Doodled a border with black pen and added the image panel.

This is gorgeous Sabrina. I made some panels the other day using this technique but I’m not that happy with them. Yours is gorgeous and love the image you stamped. TFS. Happy day

Beautiful colour combo Sabrina and the technique has turned out beautifully too. I'm going to give it a go this afternoon then save the backgrounds for VSN this weekend.
