It's time for a new Color Challenge! Barbara is hosting and has chosen Berry Burst, Terracotta Tile, Tranquil Tide and So Saffron with a dessert option to use a stencil. No dessert for me this week as it didn't work with my card design.
My BIL will be celebrating his birthday soon (along with about 10 other close relatives and friends in the next 2 months LOL!) so I made this card with a masculine take. The die cut panel was layered over a distress ink blended panel for a very simple design. He is a big fan of the outdoors so I'm hoping he likes this. A few more details and photos on my blog.
Thanks for looking and I hope you'll join us for the Color Challenge this week!

I was curious about how these colors would blend together, Stef. And from your gorgeous card I see they work beautifully together. What a great masculine birthday card!

What a dreamy scene you've created, Stef! I feel as though I'm staring through the trees into a lake at sunset. Wish I were there! Your BIL will love this!
