I discovered a new background technique that I will share with you. Take a piece of Bristol or heavy cardstock and use a 1" paintbrush to cover it with Mod Podge thinned with a bit of water. Let dry (I left mine overnight). When dry, brush on a coat of clear water and quickly sprinkle on just a bit of Magicals, Bister, or brushos. Use the wet brush to brush vertically until desired effect is achieved. I did some backgrounds with Bister and some with Brusho's and they both turned out well. For this background I used Lindy's Stamp Gang Magicals in canna lily/burnt orange. Staz-On ink works well to stamp on the mod Podge. Some elements have been stamped twice, colored, fussy cut, and popped up on foam dots to add dimension to this card.

Oh my, this card is amazing and thank you so much for sharing the background technique with us. I'm itching to find some time to try it out. I love your colours and your quirky flowers but it's your sentiment that I really love. Just perfect.
