Hello and Thanks for looking! Here is another in my Used Tea Bag series. this is the 2nd one where I have opened the bag up and used the paper flat.
thanks to Tina aka : harleygirl50 for the Tea bag tutorial Tea Bag Stamping Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I used the T Holtz stamping platform to stamp my image on the tea bag paper, it took a couple of ink up presses to get dark enough.
also used the stamp platform to stamp on the S U whisper white card base.
I printed the sentiment of my pc and used Bermuda Bay marker to outline the edges.
The Nuvo Morning Dew drops may be hard to see but they are in the round dots of the stamped image, like 'bubbles.
The tea bag I chose was pretty tea stained to begin with, but I watercolored some BB Sugar into the image liquid area.
added Stickles to the Ice cubes, the lemon slices.
I made the Bermuda bay oval by die cutting the Bazzill Marshmallow paper for frame (and used to back the tea bag paper in the middle oval.
I pounced the Bermuda Bay ink on the paper with the ink pad.
I ran Tombow mono snail adhesive all over the smaller oval and smoothed down the tea bag paper onto it, when cutting it in the big shot, I lay white copy paper under it, so it gets a smooth cut.
I hope you enjoy this card. I had fun and will make a few more for summer 'thinking of you' cards.
stay well, Teresa
