I used many stamps on this. I used 2 retired SU background stamps. I first tried just stamping with versamark, letting it dry and then trying to blending the ink over it. It did not show up so well. So I completed the scene minus the bath house and sentiment, then I put versamark on the old burlap bg SU stamp. Added clear embossing powder, and then heated it. You can't really see it too much in the picture, but maybe on the sun and in the sand a little. It just kind of looks like water droplets to me. Added the bath house and sentiment and popped up with dimensionals. I gave it a try but can't say I am too pleased with my results.

Lovely beach scene with the popped cabine, and I must admit I don't really understand what you've done, If I understood it well, you've tried to put embossing powder directly on the stamp? not sure how this could work

I like it. The bg looks so interesting, and the palm tree is one stamp I wish I had gotten. Ah, remorse! The cabana adds whimsy!

I think your beach scene is wonderful, Liz! Yes, I can see the texture and think the embossing looks just fine! Thanks so much for playing along with the challenge!

This looks like a fun wall hanging, Liz! I love the texture from the embossing. It looks like a piece of retro fabric. Popping up the little cabana and sentiment finished it perfectly.

Oh, I would be pleased. Maybe it wasn't what you set out to achieve, but you've given us all something to dream about while normal holiday plans are on hold. I love your beach hut.
