Toni is this week's Ways to Use It Challenge Hostess. Her challenge, We Are "Versa"-tile was the perfect incentive for me to try the Faux Patina technique. The vintage copper tile look reminded me of the pretty tea kettle die and an old favorite sentiment stamp. I brushed ink on the edge of the sentiment panel and over a woodgrain embossed panel. Adhered the panels to a black card base and finished it with a vellum doily and some musical notes. TFL
Hope you'll play along with Toni's challenge!

Carla, I love that pretty copper faux patina. That has always been one of my favorite looks because I love the texture and depth of the pretty designs. Lovely work!

The use of the faux patina technique really turned out beautifully, Carla. Does looks like old copper tiles....and a pretty backdrop for your tea pot sitting on its doily tablecloth. A lovely and well designed card.
