My friend, Liz, tries so hard to stump me, but she can't. This is my very first rooster sympathy card. It's commemorating Dan The Rooster's courageous fight against whatever got him one night last week. Dan was Liz's friend's only rooster, so she wanted to send a card. I hope you can see the sketch in my hand-drawn chicken wire. I made it thick and bold to coordinate with the sketch. I drew it on a background that I had in my backgrounds drawer. I think it involved bleach and stencils. It still needed a little something so I stamped the grass from Inspired By Nature on it. I colored the rooster with markers and then grabbed a few different inky brushes to brush some color behind him.
