I can't believe I did two water themed cards in a row. That isn't typically me, I prefer earth and sky, even though I don't use blue a lot. But I was anxious to use one of the Marabu marbling backgrounds I did last week.
The marbling was very fun, not quite as messy as I feared, although gloves are advised. What spurred me on was Marabu came out with some new colors and I hadn't even broken out the first colors. I calmed myself down so I wouldn't buy the new without trying the old and discovered I probably need the new ones too! Of course!
I turned the sketch on its side but kept the angled strip in the same place. I hadn't used this koi yet, cut it three times and layered it. Added some greenish/yellow glitter. The angled strip is a leftover from some napkin thing I did. I really love this new to me Club Scrap set, wonderful sentiments and some great water and water animal stamps. I know koi don't live in the ocean, but they do in my world.

What a wonderful background that is! Perfect for your finny fish! Love the look of the scrip/font used for your sentiment ... and the sentiment itself is great too!

Love that beautiful background and sparkly koi, Jean! The embossing looks like waves...I'm sure that koi feels right at home! In the world of art, anything is possible. Thanks so much for playing along with the sketch challenge!

beautiful shades of blue, YOU make the rules and I could argue that the swirls on bg embossing reminds me of a fancy plastered koi pond. Terrific! and I do feel relaxed just gazing at it. : ) Stay well, Teresa
