The Free for All challenge this week was to make a book mark - any type of book mark.
To create this care I chose a stamp that I have had for a while - just waiting for inspiration to get inky. This is a large stamp - so you will need a big thick book to use this one in.
Yes of course - even mermaids come in different sizes - just like the rest of us.
I stamped the image and coloured it with water colour paints. Fussy cut the image out and edged her with a black tombow pen. I then used a water colour background from my stash. Stamped the seaweed and added lots of glitter glue and liquid pearls to give it a sparkle and to make the perfect underwater background for this little (well perhaps not so little but just perfect after all) Princess Mermaid.
I would love to be at the beach today swimming with Princess because looking out the window at the moment it is very cold with some sleety rain.
Hope you enjoy.

Oh my goodness, how PERFCET, a ""plus sIze" mermaid, i love her to bits Helen. Your underwater scene is wonderful and your colouring of this beautiful mermaid is terrific. I have purchased some Studio Light stamps and haven't found the mojo to colour them. You have inspired me my Aussie mate. Keep warm and dry.
