This card was inspired by three challenges this week:

Freshly Made Sketches #432 with a sketch by Jen T (https://freshlymadesketches.blogspot...h-by-jen.html).

Retro Rubber Challenge Blog #133 (https://www.retrorubberchallengeblog...hing-goes.html) which requires using a stamp that is at least 1-yr old [mine was released on April 20, 1019 in Stampin' Up! (SU) Occasions Catalog, so I just squeaked by!].

TGIF #261 "Use Your Words" (http://tgifchallenges.blogspot.com/2...-use-your.html) which required the use of a word that was die-cut.

Color My Heard Color Dare #391 "Color Palette" (https://colormyheartcolordare.blogsp...-dare-390.html) which required the use of at least three colors from their color palette of 6 colors. I chose four: Sangria, Smoothie, Glacier & Fern.

So with sketch, colors, word embellishment, and age of stamp in hand, I chose to create a hummingbird celebrate card. The hummingbird was stamped with Memento ink, then hand colored with Copic markers. I cut it out using my digital cutter. It was mounted to the front of the card using foam tape.

The strip across the front of the card was cut with my paper trimmer, then colored with the same Sangria color as used on the bird to ensure it matched.

The celebrate sentiment was die cut from Glacier cardstock three times, then stacked and glued to make it have more of a 3D effect.

I kept this card very clean, and didn't use any background patterns or color. I wanted the hummingbird to be the central focus.

I am rating the difficulty of this card as a "2" out of a possible "5". If you have never done hand coloring, or need to fussycut the bird, then I'd raise it to a level "3".
