A birthday card for a friend who loves pinks and yellows and another card inspired by Yana Smakula. My friend just finished radiation treatments for colon cancer so I am sending some extra love in this card.
I stamped and colored the flowers then die cut the heart. I traced the outside of the die onto bazzill and cut it out to make a narrow mat for the image. Spattered distress ink onto a bazzill panel. Fussy cut and clued the leaves onto the panel then foam mounted the heart. Cut the love die three times and colored one with the lightest pink copic I had used in the flowers. Stacked two of the dies then slightly offset the third to get a bit of shadow and pink showing through. Foam mounted the panel onto Bazzill card base. That's it. Pretty straight forward.

Just a beauty for your friend. I love those pinks and yellows, too. Great design for your card.

What a show stopper of a card this is to make for your friend, and what a great celebration that she is finishing up radiation treatments too. Yay for her! I adore this card design Debbie with the flowers in the hearts, then the leaves in the background. The pink splatters are wonderful and so is the pale pink shadow in your sentiment die. You are so thoughtful and I know your friend will be absolutely thrilled that you are celebrating her birthday with her in such a lovely way. Hugs! ~Karen.
