Pulled out a favorite stamp set that I have not used for a few months and made two cards while the supplies were on my desk. Stamped the water in Marina Mist; then put down a post-it note to create a horizon line and protect the sky area. Sponged Crumb Cake and stamped speckle for the sand. Reversed the post-it note and lightly sponged Balmy Blue above the water & sand. Stamped the tree trunks and then the tops. Die-cut into a square. Stamped the sentiment, which seemed appropriate for what is happening right now in the world. Layered on an embossed panel. I glued down the one on your right before the ink dried and it smeared, so I immediately used my finger tip to smear it all around. Normally I would hate that, but on this card it looks cool as if it's glowing like the sun. Used Wink of Stella on the stamped water and dotted it on the darker speckle on the sand. TFL

What a lovely set of cards this is Diane with such heartfelt sentiments too. The beach scene you created is so calming and soothing and will really be pleasing to the recipients, especially with the sentiments you chose. ~Karen.

A very beautiful image. The wave embossing is perfect with it and blue was the perfect color to put with it. I love this set. I have it, but have never inked it up yet. I think this is a perfect time for me to sit down and work with it. It would help to get my mind off of things. Thank you, for the inspiration.
