The bottom part of the card front is a map from an old atlas, the top is a gel print on black paper, and they are divided by a road made with black cs and white gel pen.
The stars were a dark gray metal that I painted over with a blend of 3 patina paints. After it dried I sanded lightly with a sanding block to reveal the shiny metal on the top edges.
This is for my dad's 81st bday. Definitely different from the colors I usually use on cards for guys!

This is just awesome. I love that you used a gelli print for the top piece and took great care in every part of this design. Even the colors are great and invoke a retro feel.
