This card is for the first VSN challenge of the day hosted by Melody.
We had to use things that correspond with the word Flora
F - Flowers
L - Letters, Lovely Lace card and ink
O - Ovals, Old Olive ink
R - Rhinestones, raised greeting
A - Almost Amethyst card and ink
It took me 50 minutes to do and all I would do differently with more time would be to emboss the greeting.
I printed off the image from Power poppy onto some blending card, this image is one of several flower images I purchased a couple of days ago.
I cut it out with the oval dies then coloured it with SU markers scribbled onto a kitchen tile then lifted the colour off with an aqua brush. I find this is the fastest way to colour images.
I inked up the background stamp then layered the card on top of this and rubbed over firmly.
I put it all together with X-Press It High Tack double sided tape added the rhinestones and stamped cut and mounted the greeting with SU Foam Adhesive Strips...and that's it folks, thanks for looking
Cheers Marg
