Today's nice simple challenge was a good one to help me make this retirement card that I need for a coworker. Problem is, we won't be back in the office before he retires at the end of the month. I'll figure something out even if I have to have everyone sign it and mail it to him later. I've paired my fun new Crackerbox & Suzy Retirement sentiment with an old Sassy Cheryl digi. That poor guy just can't catch a break--no days off for him! My paper tearing was a simple torn foreground that I stenciled with a grass stencil. I stamped the sentiment on a cloud and popped it up. And then I decided to add a "silver lining" to the cloud with silver Wink of Stella. This card is actually going to my first boss who I reported to when I started full time in 2003. He was a really great guy to work for and taught me a lot. I'll miss him when he retires!

So cute, Jen, and so true! I find that I am almost more busy now that I am retired than when I was working. Thanks for playing along with the challenge today...stay safe and healthy!

You and jdmommy are my Laurel and Hardy, my Abbott and Costello, my Martin and Lewis. I'm dating myself, I couldn't think of a more recent duo. Keep 'em coming, ladies. We all need to laugh these days. Fun card!

So funny, Jen! Love the lazy days scene that you created to go with the sentiment. The torn paper adds a wonderful texture as well as depicting lawn/vegetation.
