This week the challenge for Thursday is to use curves. Lots of curves in the lacy frame (die by Gina Marie) to the pink butterfly (die unknown). The iris print is a recycled sympathy thank you card from the thrift store. I have been accompanying my BFF who has Stage 4 lung cancer for her chemo appointments and this Fall she told her doctor: I just planted a $100 worth of iris bulbs. Will I be around in the Spring to see them bloom? He assured her that she will. I made this card to send her as she continues in fairly good health and spirits. The doctorâs prediction is about to come true.

oh, Paulette, what a tender story (tears) but also one full of hope for Spring! Your card is lovely and beckons from the gallery stroll, a further look.
Thank you for reminding us of that today. Many blessings to you and your BFF.

Oh, how poignant. I'm sure your friend will really appreciate the care that went into this card...as well as on an ongoing basis. I hope she does see her iris and stays in as good health and heart as possible.
