With the limited time I've had this week, I decided to combine Thursday and Friday's challenges. I call this card Faux Gone Bad because it was one calamity after another. The faux linen doesn't show up, the faux stitching looks like a pre-schooler did it, and I'm not even going to mention the faux postage. The embossing is the only thing that keeps this card from being a total loss. I used Kittie's watercolor minis fern stamp to dress up the faux stitching (really to hide it), hoping it would look a little lacy and add a little grace to the card. But, I sure had a lot of fun making it!

Girl, this is one of my very favorites!! I LOVE the lacy look the piercing added and watercolor mini in white ink. Love the faux postage and the color scheme! Sort of victorian aged looking. Beautiful job!

Someone stole my words: ARE YOU KIDDING? This is gorgeous! It's the first of "today's additions" that I clicked on because it's so pretty! But, if you REALLY don't like it, I can send you my address! LOL!

This is gorgeous! you are much too hard on yourself! It is perfect in every way and I think you should be proud of it and proud that you accomplished some challenges! If these are mistakes, keep makin' em!

I must be living on another planet!! If I had done this, I would have been running around looking for someone to show it to! You are way too hard on yourself--this is beautiful from my vantage point!

We are our own worst critics...I think this turned out beautifully & I'd CASE it in a minute if I thought mine would turn out as pretty as yours. Love the colors, layout, your lace effect with the fern stamp, and the faux stitching. TFS
