I chose this card Under the Sea by onecraftystamper at Splitcoaststampers
and went to her blog to read how she created the background. My inspiration came more from how she made the background.
First, I spritzed water on the watercolor paper. Held the paper up and squeezed re-inkers everywhere and let it run. Next, I used a stencil. I then put some stencil paste randomly, and coated everything with distress collage medium. After drying, I ran crumb cake stamp pad all over.
I cut an extra tag from paper pumpkin in half, sponged and placed eyelets. Placed dimensionals underneath and ran twine through as though lacing the card. Lastly, thank you. I figured it could be a thank you for helping me keep it all together.
While I don't really like the colors I picked, it lacks cohesiveness, it was a lot of fun creating the background.
