For MariLynn's Have a Heart MIX challenge. No call for Valentine's here, but since I had a Yupo heart that I didn't use last week (wrong colours), I thought I'd make a non-Valentine card. No fancy fold, but plenty of mediums - acrylic paints for Lyn's Paint Swiping TLC, Sharpies for Anita's Alcohol Marker Marbling TLC, some glitter pen, Inktense pencils on the butterfly (having used up the full set I stamped a coloured a while back, I made another set one night this week).
Swiped the background, embossed it randomly round the edges and stamped the leaf spray from An Open Heart with Delicata silver. The heart was made last week, alcohol marker marbling with Sharpies on Yupo. I cut the solid flowers from a piece of Serendipity background, and added little pearls in the centre of each. Stamped the sentiment (more hearts), added SN clear glitter pen on the hearts. Popped the Yupo heart up on foam and perched the butterfly on it, after creating antennae from wire. The butterfly also has SN clear glitter all over it.

This is so pretty Sabrina, your butterfly is settled on your beautiful colored heart, the paint swiping background is perfect and matching all the other textures, I love you've die cut the heart out of an alcohol marker marbling bg and the little flowers are very pretty too, so much to see here!!

Wonderful results on your mix challenge entry! Love the bright pastels on your alcohol swiped lacey heart...so pretty, Sabrina. Love all your mixed media elements from stamping, watercoloring, embossing, and much more! GORGEOUS Valentine card!

This is beautiful! I like using hearts all year long. I rarely send out valentines and if I don't put some in the mail tomorrow I won't be sending out any again this year. This is gorgeous! It jumped out at me from the gallery thumbnails. Beautiful card. I love all the different elements you used on this.

Terrific swiping on this BG and I do love that heart die cut. I remember when I was buying my new house the homeowner was cutting several of them for wedding invitations. I was immediately drawn to this house knowing that she was a SU demonstrator seeing the home and her stash and boxes. But I digress...back to your wonderful card. The added butterfly is a wonderful finishing touch to this card and the heart.
