Karen has chosen some luscious Valentine colors this week: Cherry Cobbler + Rococo Rose + Very Vanilla with âHave a Heartâ for dessert.
I know sometime in the past Iâve had vanilla embossing powder but now I just use some old white powder. I have a jar dated 2013 which isnât quite white anymore and that worked perfectly as a stand in for vanilla.
Another color adjustment I did was to color my bakers twine with Cherry Cobbler blends. I folded the smaller heart and glued it to the larger heart just along the middle so that it would be kind of 3-D.
What a fun, vintage Valentine palette! I hope you can play along.

Lovely, lovely Valentine card, Chris! The embossing looks wonderful behind the heart, and I love the lacy strip down the side. And yes, the 3-D effect is a great idea!
