This is a card for clean and simple challenge #568, and will be used in my class this week. This was a simple and fun technique. I had a jar of instant coffee in the back of my cupboard, which hasn't been used in many years. I decided to make use of it. I mixed the instant coffee crystals with hot water, then poured it over a folded paper towel to create an "ink" pad. You can make the color quite dark by adding more coffee crystals. I stamped the leaf with the coffee. The pleated piece is a used coffee filter.

WOW! This is gorgeous! I love that idea - I might have to buy some coffee (neither of us are coffee drinkers). Your leaf is beautiful and I love the folded filter.

Love your creative take on the challenge! I never would have thought to use coffee crystals as the inspiration. You knocked it out of the park with this card, using the coffee in multiple ways. Nicely done! And really pretty card, too!
