I really liked todayâs two challenges from Jeanne for combining into one fun card! Sabrina inspired me to use this failed attempt at alcohol ink plaid for my background. Nice bright and bold color. I had a digi that I was going to use but I got into a fight with my printer, so I had to go low tech with this new Unity stamp that I bought with my Unity Instagram Hop winnings. I colored the woman with a nice bold blouse and then used my WeR Precision Press to stamp the sentiment onto my glossy alcohol ink background. These fall leaves were on my list to use and are very difficult to use when itâs not fall, but I thought they filled the empty space pretty well. Using a leftover background gets checked off for this week!

Ah - I wondered why you would have had a failed background! I couldn't imagine how anything major could go wrong with that technique Too much blending solution?? I couldn't find mine today :-(. It's certainly bright and bold, and the blue of that blouse just pops against it. Great way to rescue a fail.
I am so glad you used the background! It's gorgeous! We pay good money for patterned paper that has this kind of look! The sentiment cracked me up and I laughed out loud! I keep wondering what is the matter with me at my age still making the SAME mistakes! I am glad I am not the only one who should know better, even if it's a stamped image who gets me! LOL
