This card is for dear Karen. I embossed this lovely Country Garden die onto the silver metallic paper using a plumber's gasket.
I created my ink pad on a baby wipe using the four colors of re-inkers I listed above, then stamped my butterflies. I actually stamped an entire page of them but only fussy cut these out for the front (there is another one on the inside). I took these out and sprayed them with glitter spray which, sadly, doesn't show up in the photo. Trust me, they are sparkly!
I thought a thin strip of Melon Mambo at the top and bottom would be a nice accent, then I added the thin pink ribbon and bow. The large butterfly is popped up. I mounted that panel onto white glitter paper and then put it on the Night of Navy card base. The sentiment is heat embossed.
These butterflies will be flying to Karen tomorrow. Thanks for looking!

Oh, how wonderful for Karen. Love that country garden die and how you have glittered this beauty up. I spy some white glitter paper. The navy blue and white and silver and hot pink is sure to encourage Karen. Love how you did the ribbon too!

Plumbers gasket has never looked so good! Wow this is wonderful Catherine. I love how you coloured the butterflies and they will no doubt look even more special in real life. Karen is sure in for a fabulous collection of paper hugs.

Great dry-embossing with your die. I like the soft colours of the butterfly arc - I had thought Brushos. I always forget about the baby wipe technique for a custom stamp pad.

That's a beautiful dry embossed flower garden...so pretty in silver with the baby-wipe stamped butterflies. The silver and pinks go so very well together...LOVELY!
