 | | Jill Hilliard's "Elf Treat Box" was the springboard for a challenge during Falliday Fest 19. After I created my version of her deer box, I went on after Falliday Fest ended and have since made 24 Santa's and 23 Elves. I changed up the directions and used the Building Pennets punch and the larger pennet to punch "beards" from embossed cardstock ( ponsettia for elves and snow swirl for Santa) created feet-shoes- boots using small triangle punch and 5/8 " circle punch. Gave Santa a ribbon belt with silver round buckle while elves have rope(yarn) tie belts. Glitter stems for suspenders have brass button (brads) fasteners. The deer holds 5 tootsie rolls(size of my index finger) while Santa and the elves hold about 10-12 individually wrapped lifesaver mints. Figure about 5 hours to create 48 of these. |
