I loved her sharp color combo and CAS layout. So, I kept the blue focal point and green in the BG. I changed her leaf to the poinsettia and stenciled my BG instead of embossing.
I actually had the BG piece stenciled for quite a while and the poinsettia pieces came from a Color Burst panel I made last Christmas. I just had to watercolor some leaves. I love putting bits and pieces together so that they finally have a home.

Lovely Christmas card in contemporary colors. I admire that you can think outside the box and use a non-traditional color for your poinsettia. It is lovely.

Michelle, I love your translation of Kia's fall card into this gorgeous Christmas card. I also enjoyed reading how you took pieces you had done and turned them into this stunning card. I forget how gorgeous a blue poinsettia can be, and especially a color burst one! Someone is going to be thrilled when they receive this beauty from you! ~Karen.

What a stunning poinsettias that is! I love the texture the Color Burst colours give your 'petals'. How lovely your bits and bobs came together so wonderfully. This is a super card!
