 | | This is my third card for this week's Featured Stamper - Kia (kiagc). This one caught my eye:
Fall Maple by kiagc at Splitcoaststampers
I loved her sharp color combo and CAS layout. So, I kept the blue focal point and green in the BG. I changed her leaf to the poinsettia and stenciled my BG instead of embossing.
I actually had the BG piece stenciled for quite a while and the poinsettia pieces came from a Color Burst panel I made last Christmas. I just had to watercolor some leaves. I love putting bits and pieces together so that they finally have a home.
And, for the Inspiration Challenge, these ornaments gave the same kind of vibe.
