Softy White cs has a surface like felt. I spritzed it with water, sprinkled on Pixie Powders and spritzed again to bloom the colors. Then ran it through the Big Shot with a Pine Bough embossing folder. Let it dry, then sponged the pine branches with Garden Green to bring them out, and then with Opal Polish gold to highlight. (It's hard to see it, my bad- I'm not the best photographer, sorry) Die cut Sue Wilson baubles (that's Brit speak for ornaments) from mercury glass cs in mottled gold. Die cut the overlay from mirror gold cs, and glued together. Mounted to card on dimensionals for some pop, then die cut sentiment & corner brackets also from mirror gold cs, and added to card.
So, for the double background challenge:
First colored with Pixie Powders, then embossed with a folder, then sponged with green, then sponged with Opal Polish gold. (Can you tell I'm loving the way the Softy White takes this technique? Naturally, it was on clearance and it's all gone now!)
