My card for the Falliday Fest Challenge, Cold As Ice.
The "Peace" die-cut was a gift from friend Karen (Art Deco Diva)--check out her gallery, she is A-mazing!!
I've had that stamp set from CTMH for ages, and I think this is the first time I've inked up this stamp from it! Before stamping the silhouette scene, I applied the Soft Sky ink directly to the EF, added a piece of the Whisper White CS, & ran it thru my Cuttlebug. It's hard to see in the photo, but this made the falling dots (snowflakes!) 'pop' out against a soft blue sky. I then stamped the silhouette at the bottom of the panel...and made a mistake! If you look at the tree on the left, it has a blue snowflake dot near the top! I should've shifted the stamp a little bit to the right! Oh well...
I cut some very thin pieces of dimensional tape, & popped the die-cut word up on the panel. Layered it on NON, & then to the card front. TFL!

This is really gorgeous Liz! Your nature scene cards are some of my all-time favorites, and this one is right at the top. I love the added inking you did to make the snowflakes pop which is something I would not have thought to do before, but will now! The way you have placed this peace sentiment die and with this stamped scene you created, it almost gives one a feeling of expectation like they are looking for the star of Bethlehem. ~Karen.
