Stef has a rich holiday color combination that will be easy to use if you need to step up the holiday card production this week: Pear Pizzazz + Cherry Cobbler + Garden Green with something metallic for dessert. I almost skipped dessert, what with gingham and stitched scallops but added some metallic pearls colored with a Cherry Cobbler Blends. I'm not sure that really counts as metallic. My first version of the holly, stamped with gold metallic ink didn't work and my card took a different direction...
I re-stamped the holly with Garden Green and colored with a light Old Olive Blends that was starting to run out of ink so they definitely ended up lighter like Pear Pizzazz. I like simple borders that require little measuring and gingham looks so good on these. My new Scripty folder got a trial run for alittle more texture and and embossed greeting and the aforementioned pearls finish it off.
I hope you will join us in the color challenge this week!

What a lovely CAS card for the holidays! Your holly leaves turned out perfectly for the challenge colors (terrific it was helped by a drying up marker LOL!) and the embossed background adds a perfect image bit of subtle texture in the large white space.
