Die cut napkin trees
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: Vannie

This die cut paper napkins technique is so much fun! I did two of the solid tree and one of the one with branch cut outs. Instead of water colors, I used chalk pastels applied with blender pen. The paper puffed up the same as the instruction video. I masked the moon and the ground line and thn sponged rubbed black chalk for the sky. I glued the trees, but the foreground one is popped up on dots. I used an Itty Bitty Background with versa mark and added Irridecent Ice embossing powder for stars. Sentiment is edged with chalk too. I could't figure out which gallery this should go in, so I just guessed.

It must have taken a lot of work adding the colour with the blender pen, but you got a great look. I especially like the foreground tree with the cut-out branches, the extra dimension works well for that. Nice background, too.

Your trees turned out so well using chalk for this technique. I like how the color has different shades adding depth to your trees. Cool stormy sky and bright moon to give some glow to your card.
