I bought this stamp set/embossing folder to emboss gold on vanilla card stock for a quick & easy holiday card. But, when I saw the Dark Card Stock Technique posted, I had to give it a whirl. Simple heat and dry embossing, distressing leaves, flowers and embossed background with coordinating inks, and curling edges of the poinsettia. I had an awful time getting the colors to photograph correctly but this photo gets close. Fun challenge!

What a super combination of stamping and embossing, that background is amazing. Nice choice of copper ep for a more subtle feel than gold, but equally festive.
