Two more prints using today's Color Challenge colors...such a fun combo! I love how different they look on black vs white paper. I mixed the saffron and orange and pulled the print with stencil in place on the left. I then tried different techniques to add the bees using a solid stenciled blue bee as well as the open line one with more blue around it covered by the black open line bee for the right hand print I brayered the yellow and orange and pulled a first layer on white paper. I then laid the stencil down and brayered the blue, removed the stencil then pulled the 2nd layer print. I then laid the wet stencil over the print, rubbed and removed to add more dimension. I laid the clean stencil down and wiped black paint over the open line bee and then moved it and rubbed again to get the 2nd bee.
